The Múzeumkert (Museum Garden) Restaurant is situated in the northest corner of Hungary in Széphalom, this village is 70 km-s far from Miskolc and 5 km-s far from Sátoraljaújhely. A famous language reformer Ferenc Kazinczy organized the hungarian literaly life from this village, so called "Gate of Hegyköz area", during the beginning of the 19th century.

We serve the tourists and our returning guests in our 70 srong restaurant or on our 30 srong terrace, where there is special historical athmosphere. We serve high quality drinks and various kind of traditional and international foods, cooked with modern kitchen technique. Our banquetting hall is suitable for business dinners and for mini conferences.

The guest house was opened at march, 2000. We can accomodate 69 person. There are rooms with 3 beds and shower-bath, and there are 2 or 4 bed- apartmants with shower-bath. There is a sauna suitable for 4 person and a gym on the second floor. With our continously increasing services we try to satisfy all our guests.

Our children guests can play in the wooden-playground in front of building. In the garden of the guest-house we can organize barbeques if our guests lay claim to it, and you can take part in a traditional hungarian bacon-grilling as well.

Our lake is situated near to the village where you can relax and get away from the busy everydays. We are glad to organize programs for our guests and we can give help in group transportation with our own bus. At winter we organize trips with horse-sledge, skiing holidays and ski education on the "Magas" hill in Sátoraljaújhely and in Slovakia. As our guest you can take part in exciting shooting, which is organized by the local shooting party.
